Gulf Mobile and Ohio Abraham Lincoln #5889


Parlor-Observation Car

It was originally built in 1935 for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad and brought up the rear of the B&O's "Royal Blue" passenger train (1935-37) that provided service from Washington, D.C., to Jersey City, NJ.

In the early 1940s it was operated by the GM&O where it was assigned to the "Abraham Lincoln" passenger service between Chicago, IL, and St. Louis, MO.

Built by American Car and Foundry (ACF) for the Baltimore and Ohio Railroad in 1935

Donated to MOT in 19xx by the xx
